Mr Alfred Ingram Chapman and his wife, Mrs Ella Hope Chapman were long-time residents of the Gosford/Wyong District and��had no children. Their concern for others in society led them to bequeath their estates to defined perpetual trusts.��For over 50 years the Chapman Trust has been helping to fund eleven (11) Central Coast organisations including schools, hospitals, churches and children’s groups.

ɫ�����Ƶ P&C is a proud beneficiary of the AI Chapman and Ella Chapman Trusts.�� The P&C has the responsibility of managing the distribution of these significant funds in accordance with Trust requirements to use funds to purchase education resources as well as to present annual Chapman Awards for students who demonstrate excellence across all areas of their schooling.����

During 2019, funds have been provided for Year 7 Project, debating programme, senior study and computer room upgrade as well as student initiatives such as “Gosfest” (film) and “Speak Out” (public speaking).

When visiting the school, please take the time to read about the ‘greatest charitable benefactor the district has ever known’ in the A.I. Chapman Hall of Honour located in the foyer of ɫ�����Ƶ’s front office.�� In 2014, to recognise 50 years of significant contributions made to ɫ�����Ƶ, a commemorative garden wall in the school grounds near the assembly hall was erected making the outdoor space more visually appealing and functional whilst paying tribute to the incredible foresight of the Chapmans.

Mr and Mrs Chapman have provided ɫ�����Ƶ with indescribable educational wealth, benefiting all students who walk through our corridors. From the early 1960's, to our current year and beyond, we are indebted to them for their financial assistance and support from their generous legacy.�� Mr��and��Mrs��Chapman’s Trust continues to play a large role in educating generations of students far beyond their own lifetimes.
